The Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy, having developed a multitude of programmes, educational tools and experiential actions, spreads the values of Olympism to our youth throughout the country. The participation of more than 800,000 students in the activities of the Olympic Academy gives us the impetus to continuously develop new educational programs that are enriched with themes that listen to/address current social needs.
In the context of this development, the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy, with the support of the Olympic Solidarity (OS) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), translated the Olympic Values Education Program manuals, which are the main educational resources of the International Olympic Committee for the promotion of Olympic Education and the Olympic spirit.
At the same time, the design of a training cycle for the actors involved in the development of sport (physical education teachers, coaches, teachers, etc.) has been launched in order to disseminate the good practices of the OVEP programme through modern/attractive youth education methodologies.
The Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy will soon announce the launch of the training programme, which upgrades the dynamics of the existing Olympic Education Programme.
