On Friday 26/5/2023, at the amphitheatre of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, an exhibition and award ceremony was held for the projects implemented by the students of the 4th semester of Interior Architecture Decoration & Object Design of the 4th Thematic IEK STEAM Aigaleo in the context of the practical application course.
After recording and studying the needs of the space and the operation of the Panathinaikos Stadium (Kallimarmaro), the students designed their proposals with influences from the Olympic spirit and ideal.
The supervision of the work was supervised by Professor Augustis Krousis with the assistance of his fine colleagues, Kyriakidis Christina, in the presentations of the work and Konstantinos Delistathis in the training on the ways of exploiting solar energy on the objects to be studied (such as lamps, benches, kiosks, etc.) so that they have integrated modern digital facilities and are energy self-sufficient, with absolute respect for the environment.
The cooperation of the D. Thematic IEK STEAM Egaleo with the National Olympic Academy (ETHNOA), under the auspices of the Region of Attica and the support of PYTHA 3D CAD SYSTEM brought significant results of high aesthetics and functionality.
The President of ETHNOA, Mr. George Alikakos, congratulated all the students for the special and original proposals they presented, inspired by the magnificent Panathinaikos Stadium and stated that ETHNOA is always by the side of the youth and supports their efforts with great joy and enthusiasm!
In addition to Mr.Alikakos, the Vice Prefect of Attica, Mrs.Voula Zygouri, President of the SEO, Olympic Wrestling Champion and member of the Board of Directors of ETHNOA, Mrs.Anita Apostolidou Vice President of the Golf Federation, Mrs.Tenia Mavropoulou, the artist Ioanna Tsahtsirli and Mrs.Denise Panagopoulou made awards.
