INVITATION
The Cultural Organization «TETTIX», the IN of Agios Eleftherios and the homonymous Association, have the honor to invite you to the opening of the exhibition entitled: “The unquenched light of the Olympic flame Athens 2004 - Paris 2024” with photographic material, snapshots and 3D models of the three ships OLYMPIA - KERYNIA ELEFTHERIA - MINOIKO, which are exclusive material from the Collection of Mr. Argyris Mantis, of the Maritime Museum of Crete, of the Keryneia Chrysokava Foundation of Cyprus and Evangelos Grypiotis.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on 16 April 2024 at 19:00 pm at the event hall of the «TETTIX" Organization, 49 Ragavi, Gyzi Athens and will last until 26 April.
The exhibition has been put under the auspices of the National Olympic Academy of the Municipality of Athens, is expected by the Ministry of Culture and has the support of the Maritime Museum of Crete as well as the Kyrenia Chrysokava Foundation of Cyprus, whose delegations will be present.
Apart from its informative and educational character, the exhibition has a symbolic dimension, linking the Athens 2004 and Paris 2024 Olympics. The Olympic Flame will travel to Greece on 16 April and will leave the port of Piraeus on the ship «Le Belem» for Marseille.
