On Monday 31/5/2021 our school, together with other schools in Greece, participated in this program through modern distance learning.Our students were guided online in the area of Ancient Olympia, talked with the international Greek basketball player Panagiotis Vassilopoulos and Christos Vonikakis distinguished athlete in the cycling event and other Greek Olympians .
On Friday 4-06-21, in the framework of the same action, the Federal volleyball coach Mrs. Yiota Kefalas.
Our young students had the opportunity to learn and practice the skills of an Olympic sport through a playful format. They talked about the importance of sport in life and its contribution to health and well-being. .
During the Olympic Week (31 May - 4 June 2021) the students of the Sixth grade worked with the method of asynchronous distance telecollaboration and modern face-to-face collaborative group teaching, using online tools such as google.drive and thinglink and cultivating a variety of skills in terms of multigroup learning (e.g. digital, critical literacy). The result is interactive map of Ancient Olympia.
