Olympic Week in Schools - First Modern Olympic Games: 130 years later | 25 - 29 May 2026

THE NATION TEACHES THE OLYMPIC PADDLE AT THE 76th ATHENS PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH THE OLYMPIC IOANNA BOUZIOU AND THE WORLD CHAMPION CHRISTINA KALTSA

The National Olympic Academy (ETHNOA) continues its visits to schools, teaches Olympic education and spreads the ideals and values of sport to students.

The Olympic champion in softball Ioanna Bouziou and the World Champion of Rhythmic Gymnastics Christina Kaltsa visited the 76th Primary School of Athens on Monday 8 April 2024. .  

According to the Director of the school, Stavroula Hamodrakas, the students of the school were thrilled with the warm presence of the two champions Ioanna Bouzios and Christina Kaltsa and did not want to leave. 

”Such a visit has never been made to our school in the last 30 years that I have been working”, says Stavroula Hamodrakas.

All the children played, talked with them , and taught their sport each.   

"We would like them to visit us again next school year, as requested by our students. Our schools need the presence of sportsmen and sportswomen.
