After the reception at the mayor of the city, the children were guided through the city centre and the castle of Asaffenburg. Also for two days there was a music festival in the city with bands playing music in different places creating an extremely nice fun atmosphere similar to the Larissa pinewood festival. The joint delegation of 24 Greek, German children and chaperones played mini golf for the first time in night lighting conditions and also lazer tag with joint teams.
Greeks and Germans both tasted food from both countries, getting to know the other side's diet, lifestyle and language through language immersion games.
The programme was a success as the children, the organisers and the chaperones reported that they had more things to unite them than to divide them. Albrecht Baume, in charge of the German side, said that his children were impressed by the high level of training in the sport they love, a strong sense of friendship developed between the children and they are looking forward to returning next summer's visit to Larissa. Characteristic was the emotion of all at the farewell party on the last day.
The responsibility of the organization of the program for the Greek side was the coach and leader of the mission of the Larissa Force Mr. Stefanos Abelakiotis who accompanied the young Greeks together with the accompanying-educator Mrs. Sotiria Makriyannis.
AS Δύναμι congratulates and thanks from the bottom of its heart the two escorts for the efforts they made for the safety, the education, the beautiful and powerful experiences that the children gained.
