The Athens College participated from 28-30 May, for 5 days.η consecutive year in the Olympic Education and Olympic Values Programme, implemented by the National Olympic Academy, in Ancient Olympia, gaining great pedagogical benefits.
The students, through experiential sports activities, learned about the Olympic sports, and through the speeches they were introduced to the Olympic values of fair play, teamwork, friendship, solidarity, respect and mutual understanding. They came in contact and talked with great Greek Olympic champions and distinguished athletes who inspired and motivated them!
We thank the Greek Olympians and distinguished athletes who supported the work of ETHNOA with their presence, Dimitris Mouyios (rowing) and Victor Mitrou (weightlifting), Giorgos Tzelilis (weightlifting), Nikos Skiathitis (rowing), Yannis Tsilis (rowing), Giorgos Chalkidis (handball), Anonis Platis (golf), Anastasia Pontika (boxing) and Anna Charalambidis (water polo).
