Online draw for the participation of primary and secondary schools for the 4th Olympic Week | «The Olympic Week on the road to Paris 2024»
The online lottery for the participation of primary and secondary schools in the 4th Olympic Week, which took place between 22-26 April 2024, was welcomed by the President of the National Olympic Academy Mr.George Alikakos, who congratulated all the teachers and children who, through the Olympic Week programme and activities, bring students closer to Olympic Education and the Olympic values that should become a way of life for all of us.
The President of the National Olympic Academy, Mr. George Alikakos, coordinated the draw together with Mrs. Maria Bogner, Director of the Olympic Studies Centre in Lausanne and the Professor of the University of Peloponnese, Dean of the IOA and member of the Board of Directors of NTHNOA, Mr. Kostas Georgiadis.
The draw revealed 13 schools, one from each Regional Directorate of Greece, 1 School from Cyprus and 2 Schools from the Greek Diaspora (1 from Europe and 1 from Africa).The schools drawn will be hosted in Ancient Olympia from 31 May to 2 June 2024 and are the following:
