For the 13th year, the «I Love Sports - Kids’ Athletics» programme is held at the Panathinaiko Stadium with the participation of students from Primary Schools all over the country. The President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and IOC member Spyros Capralos and the Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Domna Michaelidou, were present. The programme «I Love Sports - Kids’ Athletics» is organised by the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy in cooperation with the Ministry of Education & Religious Affairs and the Ministry of National Defence. The aim of the programme is to give students the opportunity to get to know athletics events and test their skills with the help of experienced coaches who are Olympic or World Champions. Since 2010, around 240,000 students from more than 3000 schools have taken part!
