«Journey to the Body and Movement with Imagination as a Vehicle»: action at the SN 251 GN (General Aviation Hospital) Squadron

At the Nursery Cluster 251 of the Air Force General Hospital, the National Olympic Academy, with the assistance of the ASAED (Supreme Council of Sports of the Armed Forces), offered a special experiential learning experience to preschool children in a specially designed space.

The Olympic softball champion Ioanna Bouziou, as well as the distinguished athletes and physical education teachers Kallinikos Kreanka (table tennis), Dimitra Yovanis (athletics) and Christina Zachariadou (tennis) participated in the educational action.

Experienced physical education teachers guided the children through safe movement stations, including obstacles, balance zones and a special mobility «ladder». Through group and creative games, children practiced movement skills, cooperation and social interaction were enhanced, and each challenge was rewarded, building the young participants' confidence.

The action aimed to highlight exercise as a means of multifaceted development, offering children a pleasant and at the same time meaningful contact with the values of sport.
