On 15-16 October, the meeting of the working group for the funding guidelines of the Deutsch-Griechisches Jugendwerk / Greek-German Youth Foundation (EGIN) in Greece took place in Thessaloniki, Greece.
ETHNOA, as the first central body in Greece for sports exchanges, participated with Christina Kaltsa and Maria Tsouris, following an official invitation from EIN, actively contributing to the discussions for the formulation of future Greek-German youth exchange programmes.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Greek and German Ministries of Family and Youth, the German-Polish Youth Foundation, representatives of central German institutions, as well as representatives of Greek youth organisations.
The aim of the meeting was to review and update the funding guidelines, with a view to ensuring transparency, efficiency and the maximum possible strengthening of Greek-German cooperation in the youth sector.
The presence of ETHNOA in this group is an important recognition of its work and contribution to the promotion of intercultural dialogue and cooperation between young people from Greece and Germany, as well as an essential opportunity to participate in shaping the political and financial frameworks that will determine the future actions of the Hellenic-German Foundation.
