On 27 September 2024, in the context of the celebration of the 11th Panhellenic Day of School Sports with the motto «We sport together. We give quality to Life» and in cooperation with the National Olympic Academy, the Olympic champion in the sport of rowing Mr. Skiathitis Nikolaos visited our school. The athlete shared his experiences from his participation in the Olympic Games, describing his feelings and challenges. He also analyzed the Olympic values, emphasizing the importance of their application in everyday life.
The interview was conducted in an interactive atmosphere, answering questions that students had prepared or thought of during his speech. He emphasized on perseverance and constant effort in sports and, in general, in life to achieve success. He spoke about the importance of excellence as a human being, friendship and respect that modern society needs. He further stressed the need for teamwork to achieve goals in our lives. Finally, he did not fail to make special reference to the healthy lifestyle promoted by physical activity and proper nutrition.
