On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the celebration of the World Olympic Day took place at the Infant Care Centres of the 251 General Aviation Hospital and the B’ BNS Athens, with the cooperation of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy.
This year's Olympic Day is dedicated to physical activity through the slogan “Let's Move!”
Young and old alike are sending their own message about being active, encouraging people to dedicate some of their time every day to physical activity and feel the mental and physical benefits of an active lifestyle.
The message of the Olympic Day was read during the events. The HOC and NTHNOA awarded the participation diploma to the participants as a token of reward and remembrance of their participation in the celebration of this year's Olympic Day.
The event was attended and inspired the young students by the Olympic gold and silver medalist in gymnastics, Demosthenes Tabakos and the children enjoyed the activities in which they participated.
