The President of the National Olympic Academy (ETHNOA) and Olympic champion in gymnastics, Demosthenes Tabakos, carried the Olympic Flame to the premises of the International Olympic Academy, making a very symbolic route. At his side were the Olympic rowing champions and representatives of ETHNOA, Nikos Skiathitis, Giannis Tsilis and Stergios Papachristou, honoring with their presence this important moment.
The participation of ETHNOA was decisive during the Lighting Ceremony of the Olympic Flame for the Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026. The aquatics champion Anna Charalambidou, the water polo champion Christina Zachariadou and the rhythmic gymnastics champion Christina Kaltsa actively contributed to the preparation of the ceremony, offering their high level of knowledge and experience.
