The Evangelos Kakosaios, member of the Paralympic Committee and public relations officer in the National Sports Federation of People with Disabilities, represented the National Olympic Academy at the event organized by the Municipality of Lamia, under the auspices of the Region of Central Greece and the Fthiotiko Association of Parents and Guardians of People with Disabilities, in the context of the World Day of People with Disabilities.
During his presence at the event, he spoke to the children, as well as to Star Central Greece, about the dimension of disability and the decisive role of sport as a pedagogical tool, through the common Olympic values and ideas. His contribution was recognized with an honorary award for his participation and action.
The event was also attended by two swordsmen, accompanied by the federal football coach Michalis Kasdaglis, contributing with their presence to the spirit of the day and to the promotion of the values of inclusion and excellence.
