On Thursday, February 12, the National Olympic Academy (NOCA) visited for the third time the Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Addicts of Prisoners of Eleonas, in the framework of their cooperation for the implementation of sports activities throughout the academic year. The common goal is to strengthen social cohesion and active participation, with sport as a means of communication, cooperation and personal development.
In the framework of the visit, a sports-social activity was held in cooperation with the Scientific College of Greece (SCG). The event was attended by two important personalities of Greek basketball, Olympic and world champion Panagiotis Vassilopoulos and European champion Nikos Linardos. The athletes presented the basics of the sport, guided the participants and then organized a friendly basketball match.
