The primary schools of Romanos, Episkopikos, Kryfovos and Mousiotitsa visited the facilities of the Ioannina Yacht Club, where they had the opportunity to meet the Olympic rowing champion Yannis Tsilis.
The Olympic champion welcomed the young students and presented his sport, referring to the positive and negative aspects, as well as the difficulties that an athlete may face in general. He spoke about the Olympic values, how they are developed through sport and its important benefits.
Finally, the children saw rowing boats and oars and then tried rowing on rowing machines in the club's indoor gym.
