On Monday 27 April 2026, representing the National Olympic Academy of Greece (NOC), the Olympic softball champion Ioanna Bouzios visited the Special Kindergarten of Elefsina, in a moving and meaningful action dedicated to the joy of participation and the values of sport.
During the visit, the children had the opportunity to learn about the sport of softball through hands-on activities and games, to run, to participate in a symbolic torch relay and to share moments of joy, enthusiasm and cooperation.
The action was a unique experience full of emotions, highlighting that sport is for everyone and can serve as a means of expression, communication and empowerment. Through the interaction with the children and their teachers, the value of selfless love, acceptance and human contact were highlighted, while the day ended in a particularly beautiful atmosphere, setting an appointment for a next meeting.
