The Olympic rowing champion Nikos Skiathitis visited the 1st EPAL of the Sibitanideion School, as a representative of the National Olympic Academy, to talk to students and teachers, to share moments from his athletic career and to present his sport.
Nikos Skiathitis referred to his experiences from his participation in the 2004 Athens Olympics and the course that led to the Olympic bronze medal. The students were particularly interested and asked questions about training, the difficulties and the importance of teamwork in sport.
The meeting took place in a very positive atmosphere and provided the opportunity for an open dialogue on the values of sport and the importance of effort in achieving goals.
