The Olympic champions Eleftheria Ftouli (artistic swimming) and Stergios Papachristos (rowing) visited the 20th Primary School of Volos and met with students from all classes, representing the National Olympic Academy. They spoke to the children about their career in sport, shared their personal experiences and inspired the students to follow their dreams with perseverance and discipline.
The aim of the visit was to introduce students to the benefits and values of sport and Olympism, such as the development of discipline and cooperation, respect and fair play. The children had the opportunity to participate in safe sporting activities, discuss their experiences and hear about the sports of the Olympians.
