The Olympic basketball champion Polly Saregou, representing ETHNOA, participated in the Interschool Basketball Tournament “Shooting for Joy” organized by the 1st Primary School of Stavros Halkidiki. Students from the 1st and 2nd Primary School of Stavros, as well as the Primary Schools of Nea Apollonia, Nea Madytou and Asprovalta took part in the tournament.
Polly Sarregou spoke to the children about sports and the Olympic Values and coordinated friendly games aimed at strengthening sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork.
The tournament was a success, highlighting the power of sport to unite and inspire.
