On Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Ceremonial Hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Agapi Association Vasiliki Komnou organized the event «Heart in Rhythm No 3», gathering the interest of many citizens and institutions of the city.

The action, which aims to promote cardioprotection and the strengthening of public spaces with life-saving equipment, culminated with the delivery of three defibrillators offered by the Association Vassiliki Komnou ADAPI to the city's institutions.

A special and symbolic moment of the event was the delivery of a defibrillator by the Olympic champions Polly Saregou (basketball) and Fotini Vavatsis (archery), representing the National Olympic Academy of Greece (NOC) to the Thessaloniki Olympic Museum. Their participation underlined the importance of the cooperation of the sporting world with actions that promote the health and safety of society.

The Association AGAPI Vasiliki Komnou was founded in memory of Vasiliki Komnou, a young athlete who passed away after a serious cardiac problem. Its aim is to inform and educate citizens of all ages in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), as well as to donate defibrillators to schools, sports clubs and public places. Through first aid seminars and awareness activities, the Association promotes safety, prevention and the dissemination of knowledge that can save lives, while honouring the memory of Vasiliki.
