Online meeting with the Olympic champion Nikos Skiathitis

The students of Skopelos High School «Kaisarios Dapontes» had the opportunity to chat online with the Olympic rowing champion, Nikos Skiathitis. The Olympic bronze medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympics, presented his athletic career and explained basic elements of rowing, offering the students a complete picture of the sport and its demands.

During the meeting, the Olympic champion spoke about the importance of discipline, consistency, but also of a balanced diet, as he experienced it through the daily life of the championship. Through examples from his own experience, he highlighted how these values can be applied to everyday life.

The online meeting evolved into a meaningful exchange of views, with students actively participating, asking questions and expressing genuine interest in the experiences and experiences shared by the Olympic champion.
