As part of the celebration of the 12th Panhellenic Day of School Sports, the students of Kokkinochoma Primary School of Kavala had the opportunity to participate in an online meeting with the Olympic water polo champion Maria Tsouris.
The water polo champion, 8th in the 2008 Beijing Olympics with the National Team, spoke to the students about her career in sports and highlighted the importance of Olympic values in sports and in everyday life. Through her personal examples, she stressed the value of discipline and patient perseverance until one achieves one's goals, whether they involve sport or any other area of life.
The students had the opportunity to discuss with her, ask questions about the sport of water polo and be inspired by her experiences and messages. The meeting ended with enthusiasm and inspiration from all participants.
