On May 6, the students of the 15th Primary School visited the Volos and Argonauts Nautical Club and got to know the sport of rowing.
During the visit, the children met with representatives of the National Olympic Academy, the Olympic rowing champion Stergios Papachristos and the Olympic artistic swimming champion Eleftheria Ftoulis, who spoke about the value of effort, discipline and sport in everyday life.
The students tested their strength on the ergometers and had the opportunity to experience rowing through the club's indoor simulator.
The activity was completed with a discussion on the Olympic values and the benefits of sport, leaving the children with valuable experiences and beautiful images.
