The action «On the Path of Sport and Inspiration - Learn, Participate, Discover», with the participation of the National Olympic Academy, was successfully held in Lamia, at the «Halchioupouleio» indoor gym.
In the framework of the action, 28 Olympic champions and distinguished athletes presented 16 different sports to the students through experiential activities, demonstrations and interactive activities. The children had the opportunity to get to know sport, to actively participate and to be inspired by people with an important career in sport at national and international level.
NTHNOA was represented by Olympic champions, coaches and distinguished athletes from sports such as rowing, softball, weightlifting, water polo, artistic swimming and tennis, cycling, boxing, boxing, volleyball, archery, modern pentathlon, field hockey, acrobatic gymnastics and judo, accompanied by younger athletes.
The action highlighted the values of Olympism, fair play, effort, cooperation and respect, promoting sport as a means of education and personal development.
