On Wednesday, February 18th, the SCG - Scientific College of Greece held a workshop on «Coaching of Paralympic Sports», under the auspices of the National Olympic Academy of Greece and the Hellenic Paralympic Committee. The conference was dedicated to Paralympic sports, aiming to inform, educate and promote inclusion in sport.
Through the presentations of renowned coaches and athletes, the participants had the opportunity to learn, both theoretically and experientially, the basic principles of designing and implementing training programmes, the requirements of Paralympic sports, as well as modern practices that promote equal participation and athletic excellence.
At the same time, the crucial role of inclusion in sport was highlighted, reinforcing the belief that sport is a field of equal opportunities, cooperation and personal transcendence.
The conference was addressed to students, coaches, physical education professionals, as well as to all those interested in expanding their knowledge in the field of Paralympic sports.
