On Wednesday 29 April, the Olympic champions Stergios Papachristos (rowing) and Eleftheria Ftouli (artistic swimming) visited the 10th Gymnasium of Diminios Volos, representing the National Olympic Academy of Greece.
The Olympic champions spoke to the students about their own athletic career, sharing experiences from the world of athletics, as well as about the cultivation of the strength for continuous effort and respect for the effort of each athlete.
At the same time, the students had the opportunity to get to know the sport of basketball through exercises and games, under the guidance of the coach of the Aeoliko Volos club, Antonis Samaras.
The visit was a positive educational experience, bringing the students closer to sport and its values.
