On Monday 15 December 2025, Olympic basketball champion Polly Saregou visited the 1st Primary School of Nea Moudania, representing the National Olympic Academy (NOCA).
During the visit, he spoke to the students of classes 4, 5 and 6 about the Olympic Values, respect, friendship and excellence, as well as the role of sport in life. At the same time, she referred to her own sporting career and answered the students' questions.
Then, a basketball practice session was held, during which the children were familiarized with the basic techniques of the sport, with the participation of all the students.
The activity gave the students the opportunity to meet an Olympic champion and to come into contact with values associated with effort, perseverance and the achievement of goals, both in sport and in everyday life.
