Educational visit of the National Olympic Academy to the 4th Kindergarten of Moschato

On October 4, the National Olympic Academy (NOCA) visited the 4th Kindergarten of Moschato, as part of its activities in schools, aiming to cultivate knowledge, love for sports and Olympic values in young children.

The National Olympic Team was represented by the Olympic champion of softball Ioanna Bouziou, the distinguished athlete of water polo Anna Charalambidou and the distinguished athlete of volleyball Sophia Simantiri.

During the visit, the children participated in creative movement activities and games, specially designed to enhance balance, proprioception and body perception in space. Hoops, obstacles, cones and the courtyard were transformed into a “laboratory” of action and exploration, where the young pupils showed great interest and enthusiasm.

At the same time, the students had the opportunity to ask the athletes questions about their sport, the training process and their career in sports. The direct communication with the distinguished athletes contributed to a better understanding of the value of physical training, effort and cooperation.

The activity ended with a song by the students and an exchange of wishes, with a common desire to renew the meeting.
