The Olympic softball champion and representative of the National Olympic Academy, Ioanna Bouziou, visited the 6th Primary School of Ioulida of Kea together with the world boxing champion Elena Platana, in the framework of sports activities under the motto «I run for Peace», on the occasion of the 12th Panhellenic Day of School Sports 2025.
They spoke to the students about the values of sport. At the same time, all classes cooperatively created posters to raise awareness about peace through sport, painted and composed poems on the subject.
The athletes presented their sports and their equipment, discussed with the students and answered questions. The children had the opportunity to try out basic techniques from both sports and participate in related sporting activities.
During the day, they spoke about the Olympic torch relay and presented the Olympic torch of the Tokyo 2020 Games.
