The Olympic champions of ETHNOA, Eleftheria Ftouli (artistic swimming) and Stergios Papachristos (rowing), visited the 3rd High School of Volos in the framework of the actions for the 12th Panhellenic Day of School Sports.
During the visit, the athletes spoke to the students and teachers about the importance of the Olympic Values and how friendship, respect and excellence can be incorporated into everyday life. Through their personal experiences, they talked about their journey in sport and referred to the difficulties that teenage athletes face, as the combination of studying and training requires discipline, organisation and consistency.
Students participated in a variety of sports activities, fostering cooperation, teamwork and the spirit of fair play. The Olympians encouraged them to actively participate, try new skills and enjoy the process of exercise in a positive, enjoyable and creative atmosphere.
