Results of the competition “The journey of the Olympic Flame in France”

The Hellenic Olympic Committee, the National Olympic Academy and the French Institute of Greece, thank all the primary and secondary schools of Greece that took part in the competition “The journey of the Olympic Flame in France”.

The students read, researched and recorded the cultural elements of the French cities, which welcome the Olympic Flame before it arrives in Paris to light the Olympic altar and the opening of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. They followed up their research with visual artworks (painting and 3D construction) and created short videos with images of the torch relay.

The process of evaluating the projects gave us the opportunity to enjoy once again the creativity of the students of our country.

The results are (in brackets the city they dealt with):

Α. For painting

1. First prize is awarded to 2nd Primary School of Aigio (Lille)
2. Second prize is awarded to 2nd Primary School of Melissia (Marseille)
3. Third prize is awarded to 5th High School of Arta (Metz)

Β. For the three-dimensional construction

1. First prize is awarded to 3rd High School of Ilioupolis (Avignon)
2. Second prize is awarded to 1st Primary School of Myrina Lemnos (Fort de France) 
3. Third prize is awarded to High School of Cresteen (Reims)

Γ. The following thirteen (13) schools were awarded for the short video of the relay (in no particular order):
