The students of the Educational Renaissance celebrated the European Day of School Sports - 10η Panhellenic School Sports Day with the support of the ‘’BeActive’’ Programme and the National Olympic Academy
With the slogan «Movement gives Life» students from the Primary School of the Educational Renaissance celebrated the European Day of School Sport - 10η Panhellenic Day established by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sport. With the support of General Secretariat for Sport and the Programme ‘’BeActive’’ and the National Olympic Academy children experienced a day of sport, play and joy on Wednesday 4 October 2023 and participated in sports activities and rich experiential educational activities.
The sports school event honored with the presence of the Secretary General of Sport and Chairman of the ‘’BeActive’’ Mr. George Mavrotas. Mr C. G.G. Mavrotas toured the sports facilities and the sports games that had been organized, took the opportunity to participate in sports activities and gave his own message to the students of the Primary School about the value of sports and sports, both in terms of health and well-being and as a pleasant activity and a valuable experience of socialization and teamwork. Mr. Dimitris Antonopoulos presented an Honorary Plaque to the Secretary General for the contribution of the Programme ‘’BeActive’’ and the promotion of school sport.

The top athletes were a source of inspiration for the students of the Educational Renaissance, who came into contact with Olympic and Paralympic Sports, and discussed with them the importance of effort, goal, distinction, competition and success.
