Today 25 April 2023, the 22nd primary school of Piraeus participated in the Water Paths programme. The students were welcomed by the General Curator Mr. Vlachos. Thirty students had the opportunity to hear about the Greek history of rowing, about the values of sport and Olympism from Mrs. Vasioti and to meet the Greek Olympians.
The program was attended by the Olympic Champion of Beijing 2008, Mrs.Chrysa Biskitzi, who spoke to the children about her career in the sport of rowing, about the sport, and about the torch relay, and the students had the opportunity to see up close, personal items, the torch of the Olympic Games, Beijing 2008 and medals from world championships.
The Educational Program was completed with the participation of the students in the rowing simulators, the rowing machines with the support of Mrs. Biskitzis and the coach Nikos Koutsobina.
