The National Olympic Academy is the educational institution that promotes in Greece the values and philosophy of Olympism. Through educational programmes, actions and collaborations, it cultivates in the new generation the principles of fair play, solidarity, respect and peaceful coexistence.
Our goal is to bring the Olympic Education more near each school, in every young man and in every citizen, highlighting sport as a force Education, culture and social cohesion.

The National Olympic Committee at the 1st Standard High School of Thessaloniki

In the context of the celebration of the World Day of Persons with Disabilities, the National Organization for the Disabled and the Olympic basketball champion Polly Saregou visited the 1st Standard High School of Thessaloniki in order to raise awareness among students and teachers about the rights, challenges and opportunities of people with disabilities. The visit included a video presentation, a speech and a discussion on the obstacles that people with disabilities face in their daily lives.
