With another enchanting tour of the Stadium and the Museum of Ancient Olympia, the archaeologists of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ilia, Mrs.Roula Leventouri and Kostas Antonopoulos, took us back in time, delighting the students from all over the country.The champion of gymnastics Vasiliki Millousi and Mrs.Philippa Nanouri gave a speech.Afterwards, they had the opportunity to discover the Olympic values, friendship, excellence and the connection between sport and Olympic values and the environment in an interesting presentation by the President of the Institute Team for the World Environmental Alliance 2004+, Mr. George Kazantzopoulos.
Our athletes Dora Gountoura, Athanasia Lyouni and Alkis Kynigakis shared with all the students their experiences, their feelings and the secrets of fencing, competitive climbing and open water swimming.The participation of the schools exceeds daily all the participation declarations we had the previous year in the program.
