The Hellenic-German Youth Foundation (EGIN)<\/strong><\/a> is an international organisation that funds youth meetings between young people from both countries and exchanges of professionals working in the youth field. Its aim is to promote exchange and cooperation between young people from Greece and Germany, fostering mutual understanding, contact with the history, culture and values of the two countries, as well as the development of bonds of cooperation and friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0397 National Olympic Academy of Greece (N.O.O.A.)<\/strong>,<\/a> implementing the educational work of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, promotes the values of Olympism through educational programmes and actions for children, young people and teachers. The Hellenic Olympic Committee is the the first Central Body in Greece<\/strong> which is piloting with CIIN from 2023, based on a Memorandum of Understanding. Since 2024 to date, more than 120 actions<\/strong>, which include meetings of young athletes and youth professional exchanges between Greece and Germany, which are funded by the EIGIN <\/a>. The sports clubs, as well as institutions from Greece wishing to participate in this sports exchange program, can register at official partner map<\/a> of the EINN. On the German side, the corresponding Central Body<\/strong> is the German Sports Youth in the DOSB<\/strong><\/a>, which cooperates with the EIN and is responsible for the initial processing and clearance of applications for grants for the exchange programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grant from EYN covers, among other things, accommodation and travel expenses, language mediation, as well as preparatory and debriefing meetings. It should be noted that the funding does not cover all costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, sports clubs and institutions from Greece interested in participating in the exchange programme or receiving more information can contact directly to N.N.O.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Update: CIIN organizes monthly informative events in the field of online sessions \/ \u00abcounselling caf\u00e9s\u00bb<\/a> with the grants departments, where you can get to know the EGIN and find out more about the exchange programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
