The programme continued with undiminished interest and great participation of schools on the second day of the 3rd Olympic week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Xenia Argeitaki gave a welcome address and a presentation on the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris 2024, while Dr. Anna Papageorgiou spoke about healthy nutrition, its benefits and the healthy way to live as well as the basics of the Mediterranean diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Elena Politi then presented the Olympic and Paralympic Games that Athens hosted in 2004, the Olympic torches and their journey through the history of the Games through the Athens Olympic Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the live connections with Olympic champions and distinguished athletes, the students met the Olympic Silver Medalist Spyros Gianniotis, Kostas Filippidis who introduced them to the world of athletics and Evangelia Psarra who talked to them about archery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
