The educational program \"Olympic Education \u2013 Olympic Week in Schools\" was approved by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and in Spring 2021 it will be implemented in schools throughout Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conduct of the educational program was a proposal of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Hellenic Olympic Academy and will be implemented for one week in March and April in all schools by Olympians and Champions, aiming at the cultivation, development and spreading of Olympic education to the new generation of Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the conduct of the educational program \"Olympic Education \u2013 Olympic Week in schools\", the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Spyros Capralos said: \"We are very happy in the Hellenic Olympic Committee because Olympic education returns to schools, in an important year, because it happens a few months before the Tokyo Olympic Games. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the Olympic Games and understand the importance of the execution of the Olympic values, in everyday life. We would like to thank the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the Minister Niki Kerameos and the Deputy Minister Sofia Zacharaki, who accepted our proposal, and also for the fact that from the first moment they took office they are next to the HOC and support the spreading of Olympic Education\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
