All together, the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the Deputy Ministry of Sports, the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy, celebrated the National Day of School Sports in the most beautiful way: Olympians, Paralympians, athletes, students, pupils, teachers in a bright day at the Panathinaikos Stadium, full of sports, games and discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health, creativity, mental and physical strength, connection and integration of young and old: sport brings us closer together, cultivates the well-being of the soul and body, takes us on a journey, makes us better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were at the Kallimarmaro Stadium on Friday, September 24th, together with the Minister of Education Mrs. Niki Kerameos, the Deputy Minister of Sports Mr. Lefteris Avgenakis, the Dean of the Panathinaikos Stadium Mr. Antonis Nikolopoulos and the President of ETHNOA Mr. George Alikakos, with our Olympic and Paralympians, the athletes who made us proud in Tokyo this summer to celebrate together the values and importance of sport, effort, participation, \u00abfair play\u00bb. We were joined by students from the 1st Elementary School of Vrilissia and the 1st High School of Agia Paraskevi - we talked, we played, the children told us their favourite sports. And we closed with the children's message: \u00abWe choose sports - every day!\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
