Student Scholarships for athletes from all sports Federations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The French College IdEF, a branch of the University of Paris 13 of the Sorbonne in Greece, and the Hellenic Olympic Academy have signed an Agreement to provide Student Scholarships to athletes who belong to all Sports Federations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a meeting at the offices of HOA in Athens, the President of the Hellenic Olympic Academy, Mr. George Alikakos and the President of the French College of Greece Dr. Stylianos Amargianakis formalized their cooperation by signing an agreement to provide Scholarships to athletes. For the next four years until the Paris 2024 Olympics, the French College IdEF will be an academic partner of the Hellenic Olympic Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of HOA Mr. George Alikakos said about the cooperation with the French College IdEF: \"We are very proud of the formalization of our cooperation with the French College and the Sorbonne University. Thanks to this new Scholarship program that we are launching today, young Athletes have the opportunity to obtain a recognized French state degree in Physical Education and Sports without having to go abroad. With the contribution of HOA, the athletes who will be proposed by their Federations will have a 50% Student Scholarship for the entire duration of their studies. \"I am very grateful to Mr. Amargianakis, who is doing a great job, so that the Athletes can acquire academic supplies in parallel with their involvement in Sports.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Stylianos Amargianakis stated: \"The French College IdEF and the University of Paris 13 of the Sorbonne, official Academic Associates of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, today completed their context of cooperation with the National Olympic Academy, in order to provide scholarships to all athletes of the sports federations of Greece. We are very proud of the trust of the HOA and the President Mr. Alikakos and we are committed to make every effort to ensure a high level of education that distinguishes the Sorbonne University for the Greek students who will be the next generation of coaches and professors all over Europe \".\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
